Life is all about play and adventure and a holiday with us will give
you all of this combined with fun and snow. We welcome you to the
winter experience of a lifetime at Idre Fjäll, a perfect holiday in
a classic mountain environment!
42 Colourful Slopes
At Idre Fjäll you can ski in any direction of the
compass - it’s up to you whether you ski with the sun shinning in
your face or on your back. With 42 slopes of all levels of
difficulty everyone can have a skiing experience that fits both
their wishes and skills. The ski area is supported by 32 lifts,
which makes it quick and easy to reach your favourite slopes without
wasting time.
For both snowboarders and skiers who enjoy jumps, rails, corners and
tabletops we have two Dream Parks - the Big Park and the Junior
Park. There is also a classic Half Pipe where you can ski from early
morning to late evenings when it is floodlit.
A New 6 chair lift
This winter season a new 6 chair lift is opening
on the North side. This means we can offer longer slopes on this
face of the mountain combined with faster and more efficient lift
transportation.
For the Children
Go along Aske’s forest tracks and you will
meet playfull Reindeers, giant Trolls and many other exciting
features. Nearby you will find a large ski area for beginners, which
is perfect for the new skier who may have unsteady or wobbly legs.
The ski school will teach the classic art of skiing to a new
generation of young alpine skiers, combining learning with plenty of
entertaining activities.
Cross-country Skiing
If you want to enjoy the nature in this beautiful
environment with some cross-country skiing you will find 55 kms of
prepared tracks available of which 13 kms have been illuminated.
Food and Entertainment
At Idre Fjäll there is a wide variety of
restaurants offering wonderful food. We have breakfast buffets,
pizzas, pasta, gourmet dinners, tasty theme evenings, also fondue
and local specialities are available. Everyone will find something
to enjoy and new tastes to experience.
A perfect ending to a perfect days skiing is the après ski. Sing
along with a live band or relax in a comfortable armchair in front
of the fireplace. Children also have their own parent free après
ski.
If you are up to some late night clubbing you should visit our
nightclub “Utsikten”. For the youngsters a children’s disco is
arranged at least once a week.
Sports and play
In our sports hall you can find our ever-popular
swimming area with a swimming pool, relaxation pool and saunas. The
Children also have their own pool with water slopes and is great
fun. If you don’t fancy swimming you can try bowling or have a
workout in the gym. There are arcade games to play or you can
improve you golf skills in the golf simulator.
Idre Fjäll celebrates 40 years
Much has happened over the years and Idre Fjäll
is continuing to develop and improve its facilities. Constantly
improving and developing is important to us especially at a ski
resort offering a winter adventure for the whole family.
Our 40-year anniversary will of course be celebrated in many
different ways throughout the year, so keep your eyes open for
special offers and activities.
