Forsknäckarna
AB is a river-running company that specializes in exciting,
year-round arrangements and adventures. Number one on our list
of specialties is river running on the Vindelälven and its
tributaries. We also offer winter activities throughout Southern
Lapland and in Västerbotten’s inland.

You'll
find Kukkolaforsen Tourist and Conference Centre 15 kilometres
north of the town of Haparanda on the Tome River. The tourist
centre is tight on the river in an historic fishing area. People
still fish for whitefish using the same type of long-handle nets
used in the seventeenth century. During the summer you can try
your hand at the noble art of fishing with these special nets
with the help of one of our guides. And any fish you catch are
yours to eat.
