You'll find Kukkolaforsen Tourist
and Conference Centre 15 kilometres north of the town of
Haparanda on the Tome River. The tourist centre is tight on the
river in an historic fishing area. People still fish for
whitefish using the same type of long-handle nets used in the
seventeenth century. During the summer you can try your hand at
the noble art of fishing with these special nets with the help
of one of our guides. And any fish you catch are yours to eat.

different activities for example oilpainting, pottery,
photography and fishing. A great alternative for an active
holiday! Hälludden is situated close to the very northern point
of Öland, about 5 km north of Byxelkrok, 200 metres from the sea
of Kalmarsund.
We have 40 cabins equipped for self-catering all situated near
the sea. All the cabins have warm and cold water,WC and some of
the cabins have showers. In adjacent buildings there are
showers, washing machines, outdoor barbecue and a fish curing
house.
